Compare, honestly

Everyone helps you do the work. We help you prove it was done.

Onoro keeps every promise you make to a client on record: asked, delivered, checked, signed off. Most businesses run client work on a mix of tools, and each kind is good at one piece. This map shows which piece.

What Onoro adds

#StrengthWhat it means in practiceHow other tools usually handle itStatus
01Only the client can close workWhat it meansOn client templates, only a named verifier on the client side can accept an item. Rejecting needs a reason and sends the item back. If the client is silent for 7 days, your team can accept on their behalf, with a reason, and the report flags it.How other tools usually handle itMost task boards and work platforms let the team mark work done. Punch-list apps often have a two-step close, but the checker is usually on the delivering side.Distinctive
02Signed proof-of-delivery reportWhat it meansProduced when a round is closed and signed: every item, its result, who checked it and their note, then who signed the round and when, with a record ID and QR code anyone can check. How other tools usually handle itMost tools can export a list or a status report. A round signed by the client, with a record anyone can check, is not a standard feature.Distinctive
03Tamper-evident activity logWhat it meansEvery logged action is chained with a cryptographic hash. Your team’s rounds page and every report show whether the chain is intact. How other tools usually handle itMany platforms keep an activity history, and audit logs are often on top plans. Tamper-evidence is rarely claimed.Distinctive
04Rounds with re-open countsWhat it meansRound 1, 2, 3 as real records: verified, not accepted, not checked and % needing rework, plus a re-open count on each item. How other tools usually handle itFile-proofing tools track versions of each file, and some client portals track revision rounds. Rounds across a whole list of items are less common.Uncommon
0521 templates, each with a check stepWhat it meansEvery template has the same ask → do → check → fix → done loop, in each trade’s own words: renovation, clinics, agencies, events, training, IT support and more. How other tools usually handle itWork platforms often offer far more templates. A built-in client check-and-fix step in each one is less common.Uncommon
06Internal vs shared, per commentWhat it meansEach comment is marked Internal or Shared. Discuss cost and blame without the client reading along. How other tools usually handle itIT service desks usually separate internal notes from public replies. Task boards often show guests the whole board; client portals usually hide whole projects or folders instead.Uncommon
07Four roles, plus a verifier flagWhat it meansOwner, Team, Client and Observer, plus a verifier flag on any member. A boss or a sponsor can watch without changing anything. How other tools usually handle itMost tools have admin, member and guest roles. A verifier on the client side is uncommon.Uncommon
08Clients always freeWhat it meansClients, verifiers and observers are free and unlimited on every plan. Plans differ only in projects and team members. How other tools usually handle itClient portal suites and file-proofing tools often include free client or reviewer access. Task boards and work platforms often count guests toward limits or add paid seats past a quota.Uncommon
09Requests from a link, no loginWhat it meansClients raise a request from a link or QR code, with photos, files or a voice note, and follow it on a private status page. How other tools usually handle itWebsite feedback tools, IT service desks and work platforms with public forms usually offer something similar.Common
10English and 中文, per personWhat it meansEach user picks a language, and any card can be translated with AI switched on. Built for cross-border teams and their clients. How other tools usually handle itNot compared on this page. Not compared
11Team chat walled off from clientsWhat it meansRooms per organisation, project and board, with @mentions, card links and an alert bubble. Clients and observers never see chat. How other tools usually handle itNot compared on this page. Not compared
12AI triage with an EN / 中文 summaryWhat it meansOptional. Suggests type, priority and category, flags likely duplicates, drafts questions to ask, and summarises in both languages. The AI only suggests; your team presses Apply. How other tools usually handle itMany work platforms now include AI features. Triage of client requests was not compared. Not compared
13Your own email and AI accountsWhat it meansEach organisation can plug in its own mail server and AI key, stored encrypted. With your own key, AI use is billed to you directly by the provider. How other tools usually handle itNot compared on this page. Not compared
14Nothing sits forgottenWhat it meansTime limits per list, overdue cards flagged on the board, a daily overdue email, verifier reminders on day 1, 3 and 6, and a “Waiting for your verification” queue on My Work. How other tools usually handle itNot compared on this page. Not compared

Head to head

What do you use today?

Pick the kind of tool your business runs client work on. You don’t have to replace it: many teams keep their internal tool and run only client-facing work through Onoro.

Where other kinds of tools are ahead

Honest limits, so you choose with your eyes open.

Native mobile app and offline

Web app

Works in any phone browser. No App Store or Play Store app, and no offline mode. Construction punch-list apps and chat apps, for example, often work offline on site.

Legal e-signature

Different

The verifier signs off a round by typing their name, with the time and a record ID. It is a dated record, not a legal e-signature. Dedicated e-signature tools and some client portal suites offer that.

Integrations

Focused

Email first. No public API, no single sign-on and no marketplace of add-ons, which larger work platforms and task boards often offer.

Security certifications

None yet

We hold no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification; many larger platforms do. Two-step login, encrypted stored secrets, Malaysian hosting and daily backups are in place.

Gantt and timeline views

By choice

We keep one clean board with due dates and time limits per list. No Gantt chart or timeline view, which work platforms usually offer.

Chat-app messaging

Not available

The request link pastes into any WhatsApp or other chat, but Onoro doesn’t send or receive chat messages. Notifications go by email.

White-label

Basic

Your name, logo, colour, own domain and own email account. Client portal suites often go further, sometimes with a fully branded mobile app.

Online card payments

Coming soon

Plans are paid by bank-transfer invoice for now. Online card payment is coming soon.

Enterprise scale

SME focus

Built for small and mid-sized teams and their clients. The largest plan covers 50 team members.
